Samsung Introduced Their New Accessories for Galaxy Tab 10.1
After releasing their Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, Samsung introduced several new accessories for their new tablet.
Samsung introduced several accessories that is developed to support the company’s new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. Users of the Galaxy Tab can now choose from several docking options that includes a multimedia dock and a keyboard dock. Samsung also offers three different cases, a HDMI adapter, a travel charger, car charger, stylus, Bluetooth keyboard and even a SD card adapter.
The multimedia dock is attached to the Tab in a landscape view. It enables users to view video, pictures and contents. A 3.5mm jack is also provided for audio output, but users still have to buy and connect the company’s HDMI adapter for video pass through. There is also a second option where users have to integrate a keyboard with hotkeys for fast and easy access to Android features.
Samsung also offers a Book Cover case to protect the tablet from any damages. It is also convertible to become an easel stand that have several positioning options for media playback or typing on the Tab’s virtual keyboard. Users can also choose a leather pouch for additional protection, or a Bluetooth keyboard case that omits the need to use the onscreen keyboard.
Aside from the HDMI cable adapter, there will also be a USB adapter, a SD card adapter, a two amp charger that fits into the 12 volt ports on vehicles, and a conductive stylus that stimulates finger touch for precision input. The USB adapter, which was recently announced, supports peripherals such as mouse, keyboards, memory sticks, and other accessories.
The accessories are expected to arrive in the market this week. But several items are slated for mid-summer, including the Bluetooth keyboard and SD card adapter. While the USB adapter is already available and it costs around $20.
