Best Buy Ceased Orders of Apple’s MacBook Air

Best Buy put a hold on MacBook Air's online orders because of Apple's plan to release a Gold Master build of Mac OS X Lion.
Best Buy ceased current-generation MacBook Air orders on their order list, following the news about Apple upgrading the diminutive laptop. Simultaneously, all MacBook Air Models on Apple’s online store remain steady for shipping.
Apple was said to be waiting for a Gold Master build of Mac OS X Lion that is due to release on July. They are also expected to upgrade the notebook with an Intel Sandy Bridge processor and a Thunderbolt port.
Based on a report, Apple’s initial order for the MacBook Air were almost 400,000 units. However, it doubtfully suggested that shipments of the new laptop would reach eight million MacBook Airs in the third quarter of the year.
Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, said that the Mac maker had taken some of the iPad’s features like solid state storage, instant-on, amazing battery standby time, miniaturization and lightweight construction and put them into the MacBook Air.
