Toshiba Thrive Tablet, Facing Power and Reboot Hitches
Owners of Toshiba Thrive tablet are currently suffering from power flaws.
Toshiba, for the second time around, encountered several issues and problems with regards to its recently launched tablet — the Thrive. The device’s owners have posted comments on the company’s forums, claiming that the tablet is suffering from serious bugs. They say that the tab often refuses to wake up from sleep, it requires a hard reset, and the device frequently turns on even without prompting. These defects were also found in stock devices that have no installed applications yet.
Not all users are experiencing the said issues. But still, few statements affirm that such glitches can be solved through editing the Wi-Fi connection and screen timeout settings of the tablet.
Although Toshiba has not given any comments on the problem yet, most users are expecting for the company to provide solutions that can instantly fix the Thrives bugs. “Best Buy returns are apparently on the high side,” a forum post stated.
These glitches perhaps damaged the much-awaited tablet from Toshiba. In fact, this is said to be the second time wherein the company was filled with negative comments from people who are using their tablets. The Folio 100, Toshiba’s first Android tablet, also experienced bad technical issues and high return rates — blocking the tablet’s sales.View Article Source »
