Samsung Galaxy Q, a QWERTY Slider
As a new and much reliable information leaked, Samsung Galaxy Q seems to be an Android 2.3 slider.
Samsung Q’s rumors of being a high-end phone were dashed on Wednesday, when a more reliable leak shows its features. The design of the said device is now thought to be an entry-level QWERTY slider phone, with a 3.2-inch touchscreen. It is also said that it would have an Android 2.3.
A Canadian carrier, Rogers, noticed in advance that stores peg the Galaxy Q as a “Smartphone Lite”. This device has the real smartphone OS like in Nokia X7 or Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro. However, Galaxy Q doesn’t use as much data as more advanced hardware. Subscribers are likely to steer towards a $10, 100MB per month plan if they want to have a hold of Galaxy Q or other lite devices for themselves.
The release date of the Samsung Galaxy Q is scheduled before the end of the summer. However, it is still unknown if the said device will reach the U.S. shores.View Article Source »
