AT&T Offering Two Editions of Galaxy S II
According to rumors, AT&T will be offering two version of Galaxy S II. One with a QWERTY slider, and the other is otherwise.
A rumor emerged on Tuesday that AT&T will offer a variant of Samsung’s Galaxy S II handset that includes a QWERTY keyboard. However, another report says that the carrier will actually release two editions of the said flagship Android device. Sources said that one of the phones will be similar to the Galaxy S II that was released to other countries, which do not have QWERTY slider.
Aside from the keyboard option, the two devices are expected to provide the same internal components. Android 2.3.4 is said to be powered by a dual-core processor that runs at 1.2GHz, while an 800×480 touchscreen panel is also standard.
A company executive from Samsung announced that the Galaxy S II will be launched on August for US land, but there’s still no specific date and price for the device. The said smartphone is expected to ship in through all major carriers like Verizon and Sprint.View Article Source »
