Apple to Release iPhone 5 in October [RUMOR]
Apple's next-generation iPhone will be launched on the month of October, not in September as rumored.
John Paczkowski of AllThingsD, a source close to Apple, unveiled a somehow dismaying news about the official launching of the much-awaited iPhone successor. According to him, iPhone 5 will not be slated for a September release. Instead, it might arrive later than expected – and that would be by the month of October.
So, when can we expect the company to uncrate the iPhone 5?
“October,” the source said, while declining to offer a hard launch date. Other sources said it will be later in the month rather than earlier.
In addition to that, there are also reports stating AT&T workers are banned to have a vacation leave for the last two weeks of September, adding to the speculations that the iPhone 5 might be launched within those days.
“Sources with knowledge of the situation say reports claiming AT&T has blacked out employee vacations during the last two weeks of September in preparation for the retail debut of the next iPhone are misinformed,” Paczkowski affirmed.
Aside from the rumored launching date, there are still no official announcements with regards to the next-generation iPhone’s features.
AllThingsD has been one of the most accredited sources of Apple news, therefore, it is not that surprising if people are likely to believe their rumors. However, this does not mean that October was considered to be the official debut month of the iPhone 5, take note that Apple could still change this announcement.View Article Source »
