iTunes Match Beta Goes Live for US-Based Developers

Apple's iTunes Match is now open for developers!

In an email message sent by the company, they have confirmed that the is already available for developers:

Apple pointed out in the email that beta subscribers will be receiving an additional three months free by just having a 12 month paid subscription worth $24.99. The company also encourages users to save a local backup of the music that they have added to iTunes library and . “Apple will periodically reset your library during the beta and it is critical that you backup your music regularly. Some features and optimizations of iTunes Match will not be available during the beta.”

And like the songs being purchased from the iTunes , iTunes Match will also provide consumers with the same benefits. That’s 25,000 songs, for just $24.99 a year.
