Toshiba announced three new camcorders: The Camileo Clip, Camileo X200, and Camileo X400.

As part of their plans of making more product releases at IFA, UK introduced three new Camileo : The small , the larger , and Camileo X400. All three are capable of shooting 1080p HD videos and still images. They feature an electronic image stabilizer and a new Exposure Measure function that could adjust image settings automatically.

The X400 is said to be sporting a 5.0-megapixel CMOS sensor with 23x optical zoom lens, while the X200 gets an 8.0-megapixel sensor and 12x zoom. They both come with a 3-inch LCD and a motion and smile detection , which is very useful for capturing moving subjects.

The Camileo Clip, on the other hand, is especially designed for users who like adventures. It is very handy, weatherproof, and has a rubberized finish. It a 1.5-inch LCD that sits on the back, a 16MP sensor, and a 5x digital zoom that could expand to 10x when resolution is lowered to 720p. The Clip will be available in blue, red, yellow and white colors.

Unfortunately, the three camcorders have no built-in memory, but they could support SD cards (microSD for the Camileo Clip), and even comes with a mini USB and mini HDMI port for connection purposes. Users can also do basic editing on the camcorders, and could upload photos in social networking sites faster — thanks to the help of a new system.

The camcorders are set to hit the store shelves of UK in fall, though the prices and U.S remained unknown.
