Daniel Ek: On Spotify Integration with Facebook

Spotify CEO, Daniel Ek, talked about the application's deep integration with Facbook during F8 conference last Thursday.
At last Thrusday’s F8 conference, Spotify CEO – Daniel Ek – talked about the launch of Facebook Music. And to clear things out, the new feature is not a console built on top of the social networking site. It is a partnership made around a number of music apps like Rdio, Mog or Iheartradio through the new Open Graph platform.
More than sharing your own music and listening to your friends’ playlist in the new Facebook News Ticker, you will eventually see and share music-related activity on the Music Dashboard found at the left hand corner of your profile. In addition to that, Spotify will be removing its invite-only barrier, aside from giving non-paying users six months of unlimited music listening.
But if you don’t want to share your playlist to your Facebook friends, here’s what you can do: Click “Applications” > Spotify (or whatever app you’re using) > App Privacy > Only Me.
