Contrary to the rumors that the next generation iPad will be named the iPad2 or the iPad HD, Tim Cook has introduced it simply as “the New iPad”. Just when everyone expected for it to have a new name like the iPad 2 and other iPhone models, Apple has declined to give it a real name. A lot of peope were disappointed and confused on what to call the new Apple tablet. One user tweeted: “So, just to confirm: Apple created a new iPad, declined to give it a real name and barely changed it from the last one? No thanks.”
