Rovio Warns of Fake Angry Birds Game Versions
Fake Versions of Angry Birds games containing infectious malware, can be downloaded in unofficial Android app stores.
Rovio warns people of fake versions of their Angry Birds game that contain infectious malware. These versions are said to be available for download in various unofficial Android app stores.
“As you get ready to pop pigs in zero gravity, watch out for fake versions of Angry Birds Space, and make sure to download safe by getting the official game from Rovio,” Rovio wrote in their official blog.
According to the web security firm Sophos, fake versions of the game can invade your phone using a Trojan horse called Andr/KongFu-L. This virus enables the cyber criminals to direct your phone to any website, once installed.
Make sure to only download the official version of the game, to avoid malwares from infecting your phone and for a hassle-free and enjoyable game play.View Article Source »
