Sony Developing PS4 Games

The PS4 may be out sooner than you think. In a recent interview, Sony Worldwide Studios U.S. head, Scott Rohde casually reveals that PS4 games are in development and does not talk about the game console itself.

When asked if Sony isn’t worried about the potential for Wii U to lead the next hardware generation due to its launch lead, Rohde says:

“Not at all. That’s the simple answer. In very similar fashion to the way I’m talking about game development. We have a very strong vision in what we believe we’re gonna do for the next generation. And we’re not talking about it at all yet. The reality is let’s build a great machine. And we’ll talk about it then.”

Rohde also adds in a recent interview with GameTrailer.com:

“We’re not talking about when the machine is coming out, but I think anyone on the planet knows that, of course, games are in development.”
