Square Enix’s Final Fantasy makes it way to Windows Phone devices.
After releasing an iOS version just last year, this classic RPG game is now available for the Microsoft mobile platform. It’s the only straight-up RPG (or JRPG) in the mobile Xbox Live library.
This Windows phone game version is based on 2007’s enhanced Playstation Portable remake. It comes with with bonus dungeons that were initially added to later editions of the game – the Soul of Chaos and the Labyrinth of Time.
According to the game’s description:
“Players guide the Warriors of Light as they set out on a quest to restore the crystals to their former luster. Its side view battles, choice and promotion of character classes, and sprawling world explored with fantastic vehicles quickly became standards of the series. This game set the stage for all FINAL FANTASY games to come.”
Purchase the game in in the Windows Phone Marketplace for $6.99 or if you’re not willing to pay for that amount a free game trial is also available.
