The number of bikes that are stolen in U.S. have increased each year. According to the National Bike Registry, the estimated cost of bikes being stolen have reached to around $200 million. Luckily, there is a company that gives bike owners a sense of security.
Integrated Trackers, a UK electronic and software design company specialising in GPS tracking, have created the SpyBike system.
The SpyBike set comes with a small GPS tracker that will be hidden inside your bicycle steerer tube. It also goes with a anti-theft key that lets you install and remove the tracker. Once the tracker is activated it can detect vibrations such as movements. Once movement or vibration is detected, the GPS system, warns the owner via text and sends the location coordinates of the bike, every 20 seconds.
The Spybike system can be bought online for around $150, through the Integrated Trackers website.View Article Source »
