New App Saves People From Bad Dates
eHarmony's Bad Date Rescue app, provides singles the perfect escape with fake phone calls from mom and scripted reactions
eHarmony’s cheeky app, the Bad Date Rescue App, saves you from a bad date by providing a prerecorded incoming call from a pretend mother, friend, neighbor or even a boss. It also provides dictated script you can follow in case you ran out of excuses.
Calls can be scheduled beforehand and it can be ignored, in case you are enjoying your date’s company. If things don’t turn out well, you can press 5, to get a rescue call.
Arvand Mishra, the director of product management at eHarmony, talks about the app:
“It graciously allows you to play along and to get out of that situation. There are all sorts of reasons for why people want to get out of a date. We are helping them do it in a way that is fun and light and not abrupt.”View Article Source »
