Ford Plans To Turn Industrial and Biodegradable Wastes Into Car Parts

Ford comes up with an eco-friendly program that advocates the use of non-biodegradable and biodegradable materials into durable car parts

American automaker, , heads towards a -oriented direction by planning to incorporate more sustainable materials to their car making process.

Ford’s researchers and designers have come up with an -friendly program that allows the use of industrial waste, plants and other biodegradable materials to be turned into high quality and durable car parts.

The automaker plans to convert wastes into plastics, rubber, foam, film and fabric that can be used to make the interior of a car. -based polyurethane foams can be used to make seat cushions and seat backs,  recycled yarns in seat fabrics, underbody systems made from recycled detergent bottles and battery casings, and engineered ebony wood.

It’s very enlightening to see a big company like Ford to be concerned with the . American consumers are sure excited to witness the unveiling of Ford’s eco friendly products soon.
