‘Fenopalm’ makes use of image recognition technology to scan the user’s hand

has created a for Independent bookshop Watkins Books, a store that specializes in books for the mind, body and spirit.

Iphone app, Fenopalm, scans the user’s hand by making use of image recognition .

It makes an analysis of the head, heart and life lines, zodiac sign, and index-to-ring-finger ratio. Then it uses the user’s Facebook data, by making use of social and work life, relationships and friendships, and geolocation data as a basis for the reading. Renowned palm reader, Swami Krishna, then appears in an to discuss the result of the analysis.

The app also features a text report of the reading that is shareable. It also gives out book recommendations and events from Watkins Books’ catalogue, based on the user’s data.
