Phone App Does Palm Reading

‘Fenopalm’ makes use of image recognition technology to scan the user’s hand
JWT London has created a palm reading app for Independent bookshop Watkins Books, a store that specializes in books for the mind, body and spirit.
Iphone app, Fenopalm, scans the user’s hand by making use of image recognition technology.
It makes an analysis of the head, heart and life lines, zodiac sign, and index-to-ring-finger ratio. Then it uses the user’s Facebook data, by making use of social and work life, relationships and friendships, and geolocation data as a basis for the reading. Renowned palm reader, Swami Krishna, then appears in an interactive video to discuss the result of the palm reading analysis.
The app also features a text report of the reading that is shareable. It also gives out book recommendations and events from Watkins Books’ catalogue, based on the user’s data.
Etan Ilfeld, owner of Watkins Books, said:
“We’re delighted with this innovative creation from the people at JWT London. Fenopalm allows users to experience the magic of palm reader, Swami Krishna, whilst also building the Watkins Books brand by focusing on digital technology and innovation in order to reach new audiences.”
The app is free for download at Apple’s App store.
