Bike Helmet Stickers Calls For Help If Fall is Detected

ICEdot (In Case of Emergency) together with SenseTech LLC, has developed a sticker that can be used as a bike helmet sensor.

The yellow sticker is a wireless impact sensor that can be attached to your bike helmet. It has the ability to detect motion, changes in forces, and impacts, in the event that the biker has fallen.

Once it detects a fall, the sensor makes use of bluetooth technology to communicate with the installed ICEdot app using the rider’s smartphone. It then automatically sends an alert message, which contains details like the GPS coordinate of the rider and how severe was the fall.

In case the rider drops his helmet accidentally, the emercency notification can be cancelled, because the data is sent after after a countdown clock reaches zero.

The ICEdot sensor is perfect for cyclists and athletes who take part in snow sports, skateboarding, motocross, and BMX biking.
