UK Mobile Carrier To Release Next HTC Smartphone Model Without Charger

To reduce environmental costs, so the upcoming HTC smartphone won't go with a wall charger
European mobile carrier O2, has revealed that their upcoming HTC smartphone will be launched without a phone charger. Their decision was based on a study that show that more than 70 percent of UK customers already own a charger with the same compatibility, so theirs no need to include one in their latest smartphone model.
They also researched that not including a charger with the packaging will also save them from environmental and transport costs. They have also learned that 100 million unused chargers in the UK are the same ones used with their old handsets.
According to O2, their customers have the option to purchase a charger on the side, since the upcoming HTC handset won’t include one. The smarphone will be come with a USB-to-micro-USB cable that can be used to charge your phone with a PC USB slot or existing chargers with USB input.
