Unlock Electronic Devices Using Your Heartbeat

HeartID uses ECG biometric technology that identifies an individual's distinct hearbeat
Biometric technology seems to the best way increase the security of gadgets. First came the facial recognition technology then palm scanning, and now an engineer has has came up with ECG biometrics.
Foteini Agrafioti, an engineer at the University of Toronto, has developed HeartID for the surveillance company Bionym. It is security system that recognizes users based on their unique cardiac rhythm.
Agrafioti talks about ECG biometric technology:
“ECG biometrics identifies people by their cardiac rhythm. Not just their heart rate, but the actual shape of their heartbeat.”
HeartID can be installed into different electronic devices such as smartphones, tablet and video game systems.
