Phone App Allows You to Send Scents to Friends

A Japanese company has developed a phone app that allows you to send and receive scents using your smartphones. The Chat Perf app goes with a small attachable device which features an atomizer and a smell tank.

All you have to do is plug the device into your iPhones and send a scent to another iPhone user with the same device. Fill the attachment with a scent of your choice and once you send it it will spray a puff of smell to the receiver. You can even choose to send the smell of your sweat.

Chaku Perfume is planning to take this innovative idea internationally. They believe that it will be an effective promotional tool to lure concert goers. The company plans to hand out their smell tank to iPhone users who are attending events and music concerts.

The Chat Perf will soon hit App stores this fall and can be purchased online for 4980 yen or $62.25 USD.
