$1.25 Million Giant Robot Now For Sale

KURATAS is the world's first boardable and commercially sold robot
Gundam fans can now purchase a giant robot, that is if they can afford it. Japanese company, Suidobashi Heavy Industries, is now accepting orders for KURATAS, a $1.25 Million ginormous robot.
It is a diesel powered robot that is 13 feet tall and weighs 5 tons. It is currently the world’s “first boardable, commercially available” robot. Customers can have it customized to the color of their choice.
Since it is boardable, you can step into its one-person cockpit and control it using a Kinect motion sensors or its built-in handle. It can also be controlled remotely through mobile phones via 3G internet.
Despite its eye-popping price tag, the manufacturer has already received over 3,000 orders from all over the world. The inquiries mostly come from countries like UK, South Korea, China and the USA.
