Enviroment Friendly Circuit Board Dissolves in Water

The eco-friendly circuit board contains reusable parts like capacitors
Researchers from UK’s National Physical Laboratory have invented an environment friendly circuit board. The circuit board was funded as part of the UK’s ReUSE (Reusable, Unzippable, Sustainable Electronics) program.
The invented circuit board, won’t turn to another harmful electronic waste, because it completely dissolves when placed into hot water. Its other parts like the resistors capacitors are also reusable. Those are the only parts that can be salvaged when submerged in water.
According to the tech website. the Inhabitor, “when a circuit board is removed and disassembled, only about two-percent of the components can be salvaged.”
NPL’s board is composed of polymeric layers that can take air moisture and thermal heat. However once it reaches its expiration date, it can be submerged in hot water, to release the polymers.
