AT&T, Now Accepting Pre-orders for Nokia Lumia 900

US telcom AT&T is now accepting pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 900 but for cyan and black phone units only.

Almost a week ahead of its April 8 release, is now accepting pre-orders for the 7.5 loaded, 900. Consumers can make a reservation through AT&T’s online and retail stores.

However, customers should know that they can only or blue versions of the new Nokia phone. The white version is expected to be released on April 22nd.

Shipments should be expected to arrive on April 6, two days before its official launch. Good news for new At&T customers, they can get the Lumia 900 phone for free after a $100 online rebate.

At Long Last, Verizon Reveals the Release Date of Motorola Droid 4

The long wait is over! Verizon confirms the release of the Droid 4 this week.

Droid 4, the QWERTY from Motorola, will hit stores on February 10. The handset is priced at $199.99 under a two-year contract.

Motorola refers to the Droid 4 as the “the thinnest and most powerful QWERTY smartphone measuring at less than half an inch thin.” However, the phone is still powered by the 2.3.5 Gingerbread. An update to will be coming soon.

Other features of the Droid 4 include a 4-inch qHD display, 8MP camera and a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. The phone unit has access to 4G coverage.

Nokia’s Lumia 900 to Light Up on March 18

The Nokia handset which stole the spotlight at the Consumer Electronics Show is set to be launched two months from now.

The release date was dropped by guru Paul Thurrott during the Weekly podcast. Thurrott is often relay trusted insider information. He already mentioned the said date last December during the discussion of ’s plans.

ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley joined Thurrott on the podcast. They based their prediction of the release date of the on Nokia developer documentation.

The 900 has several very impressive features like the 4.3-inch AMOLED Clear display, a front-facing camera, 1.4 gigahertz CPU and 1830mah battery.

Italian Court Denies Samsung’s Appeal to have the iPhone 4s Blocked in Italy

Samsung's sales injunction against Apple's iPhone 4s denied for the nth time.

The ongoing war between and is still ongoing. This time, seems to be winning. ’s move to stop the ’ release in the Italian market has been denied by the country’s court. This just comes a month after France has similarly rejected their appeal to block the sales of newest model in their country.

So far, Apple has won in Australia and had the Samsung Tab temporarily banned in the Oz market last year, although the tab is now available in the market, following the High Court of Australia’s  decision to reject their earlier plea. This can be compared to Samsung’s denied appeals in France and Italy. Samsung’s recent loss in the Italian court is hardly a surprise.

A few lucky folks have managed to get their hands on the Verizon’s version of the Galaxy Nexus at Best Buy and they have pictures to prove it.
