Diablo III Launch, Off to a Grim Start in Asia

Blizzard has launched Diablo III at midnight. However, today’s official release is off to a bumpy start. Asian players of the game were greeted by an error when attempting to access the digital version of the game.

A member of the Diablo III community posted in Blizzard’s official message board, that players in the Asian region experienced an error message: “Error 12 – No license attached”. Game Masters in Blizzard Korea, are manually flagging the digital accounts so that players can gain access to the game. While players in Taiwan can’t access the game because there are no available game masters to flag accounts.

Players in the European region are now access the game after experiencing server errors earlier, due to over capacity.

Modern Warfare PS3 Bundle Goes On Sale on May 25

PlayStation has again partnered with Activision to bring you the limited edition, PS3 “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3″ bundle that is set to go on sale on May 25th. They have previously released a PS3 “Call of Duty: Black Ops” bundle, just last year.

Rovio Celebrates Billionth Angry Birds Download

Hit mobile game, Angry Birds has reach over a billion downloads on Wednesday, according to Rovio. The 1 billion count includes all free and paid versions of the Angry Birds games, in all platforms. These are: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Space.

Angry Birds Can Now Be Played on Facebook Timeline

Angry Birds fans can now rejoice. Rovio has announced on their official blog that the popular mobile game Angry Birds, can now be played on the Facebook Timeline. The game can now be embedded and played via the “Share & Play” option.

Not only that, players can also embed the game on blogs and webpages, like Tumblr and WordPress. Players have the option to track their scores, by just embedding the HTML code, without the need of downloading the game.

Rovio Releases New Angry Birds Space Game Episode

Good news to android and iOS users, you can now download a new episode of Angry Birds Space, for free. Rovio has released a free episode named, Fry Me to the Moon, that offers 10 new game levels to the hit game.

iOS players are in for a treat because Rovio is also giving away 20 free space eagles, as a thank you for being the most downloaded game in Apple’s App Store. They can also earn one free space eagle, each day they log into the game.

So make sure to download this new episode and pop those piggies in space!

Angry Birds Space Hits Blackberry Playbook

Good news to Blackberry Playbook owners, you can finally play the latest Angry Birds game installation, in your tablet. Rovio has released Angry Birds HD for Blackberry Playbook.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 Game for 3DS To be Released Soon

Nintendo President, Satoru Iwata announces the impending release of the New Super Mario Bros game for Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America, this August, through the Nintendo Direct livestream.

Iwata also released screenshots of the new Mario Bros 2D game in last night’s conference. Nintendo also adds that: “This all-new, side-scrolling adventure features Mario, Luigi and all your fave characters from the Mario series.”

The game’s release date in Europe was not mentioned.

Play “Diablo III” for Free

New players of Diablo III can now register a free account, as the online game enters an open beta period as of 12:01 p.m. This period will only last during the weekend and will end at 10 a.m. on April 23.

PlayStation Network to Undergo Maintenance Tomorrow Morning

The PlayStation Network is set to undergo a 13-hour maintenance tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. EST. This was announced by Matthew Harper, the Senior Manager for PlayStation Digital Platforms, through the PlayStation Blog.

While under maintenance the PSN Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management services and online play as well as PlayStation websites hosted on PSN servers, like the Official PlayStation Blog will be also unavailable.

Rovio warns people of fake versions of their Angry Birds game that contains infectious malware. These versions are said to be available for download in various unofficial Android app stores.
