And so continues the plight of the giant iPads as ASUS unveiled the ET2700 which boasts a 10-point multitouch functionality.

If it wasn’t for the ASUS logo, we would’ve thought this was Apple’s more business-like rendition of the iMac. ASUS has just unveiled their 27-inch ET2700 10 multitouch all-in-one desktop at CeBIT. The desktop boasts of 178-degree vertical and horizontal viewing angles, a SonicMaster audio, an HDMI in and out, plus some features apparently inspired by the iMac. This seems to be the reply of the manufacturer to the all-in-one touchscreen euphoria that’s been happening eversince HP unveiled their TouchSmart 2.

Though critics are already complaining and even mocking ASUS for mimicking Apple’s desktop, but we say let’s give them a chance. Maybe things will pan out nicely in the end. No specs and price has been unveiled yet, but maybe the video can satiate your hunger for bits of information.
