Altek Leo offers a top-of-the-line camera experience. It is a mobile device which offers 14-megapixel plus Android Eclair.

Before we get to the main event, let me give you a background about Altek. Founded in 1996, Altek is a Taiwanese corporation that develops digital cameras and other technologies. The company took claim in the world’s number one original design manufacturer of digital cameras. And now, they created another exceptional product.

A mobile phone carrying an HD-capable 14 megapixel camera, a 3.2 inch WVGA multi-touch capable display and will run under Google’s Android 2.1. It also carries a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5G (HSPA/WCDMA) wireless and network protocols. The gadget sports a built in GPS, accelerometer, digital compass and handwriting recognituon. It will support major audio and video formats and the internal memory is also expandable to 32GB via microSD card.

This device verged more on the camera. The Leo will make use of the 14-megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom lens, capable of recording 720p HD digital video. And the device will hit Europe in 2011.
