Qualcomm Adds ‘Krait’ 2.5GHz CPUs to Snapdragon Family, Quad Core Chips Incoming

Think your phone is new? Well think again after a couple more months as Qualcomm may inspire manufacturers with their crazy 2.5GHz CPUs!

It was only a matter of time until we see another generation of Snapdragons running about the wilds of the mobile forest. With the proliferation of fast and top-of-the-line smartphones getting the best Snapdragons available, Qualcomm is not allowing itself to get comfortable as it unveils the 28nm ‘Krait’ chipsets, a much-faster, next generation Snapdragon family processors which includes a single (MSM8930), dual(MSM8960) and quad (APQ8064) core CPUs.

Nintendo 3DS has 3D Video Recorder?

Since the Nintendo 3DS can shoot photos in 3D, why not shoot videos in 3D too? Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata seems to be playing with the thought.

We got 3DS capable of playing video games in 3D, it’s also capable of capturing photos in 3D. So why not make it record videos in 3D as well? That’s not precisely what Satoru Iwata, the CEO of Nintendo Company, said, but he did give a little hint of what might happen once the Nintendo 3DS kicks into full throttle come February.

During a dialogue session between Shigeru Miyamoto and Satoru Iwata, the two gave some pretty inspiring hints that they may make the 3DS’s 3D photo feature into a video feature. Soon-to-be 3DS owners won’t need to worry of purchasing another console just to get the feature, as the Nintendo executives expresses that the 3D video will come in the form of a firmware update.
