Lens man Uploads 5 Billionth Photo on Flickr

Just when you though Flickr is about to fade away, the photo-sharing site welcomes its 5 billionth photo captured by a young photographer.
Last Sunday, an announcement was made that the 5 billionth photo on Flickr has been uploaded. The photo is a shot of an iconic building in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The user who uploaded the photo is Aaron Yeo, a 20-year-old photographer and he tagged his photo with the caption: “I am Mr. 5 Billion, and there ain’t nothing you can do to stop me.”
This was a positive sign for Flickr, who everybody though will be going away anytime soon since Facebook has now become the largest photo-sharing site on the Internet. Add to that increasing number of uploads on Flickr since the late 2007.
