Another word from the Rumorville came out: No iPhone 5 this year according to a Chinese supplier.

Following a Chinese supplier’s claim that there will be no iPhone 5 this year, doubts were cast upon the possibility of Apple launching a next-generation handset this year. The Chinese supplier is the same provider of images of iPhone 4S components, which were sourced from Shenzen, China. The alleged iPhone 4S components – battery, camera, home button, dock connector assembly and display – are all available for purchase now, according to a report.

There has been much buzz about whether Apple’s next mobile device would be a slight upgrade to iPhone 4, or an all-new design with superior components. There are also speculations that the Cupertino-based company would launch two models in the iPhone range.

New York Times reported last week that an anonymous Apple employee promised that the next-generation iPhone would be “fairly different” from iPhone 4. However, he only mentioned one model. But contradictory to that was an evidence later reported by 9to5Mac. According to the latter’s source, Apple will be rolling out two new units — with one suffering from production delays.

The rumor mill is really heating up, as Apple is soon to have its great reveal day ahead of the holiday season.
