Nike's new Run Tracker features visuals inspired by sci-fi movie, Tron

Sports brand, Nike has created a new Run Tracker, with the help of a Hong Kong interactive agency. The MvsW campaign features sci-fi inspired visuals.

Creative Director Henry Chu talks about this campaign and said:

“As fanboys of sci-fi movies, we wanted to create an interface like Tron with the control panel of the Ironman’s suit,”

The visual features Tron-style graphics that features data from the participating runners and segmenting it between men and women. Men and women are shown as blue versus red visualizations.

Other graphical datas include Fastest 1k, Longest Run. Total Distance and Average Pace.

Nintendo Wii Ad Promotes Family Bonding

Nintendo Wii is a good companion to kill idle time. But to make holiday events more special, why not organize a friendly Wii competition among your family and friends?

Nintendo kicks off their new advertising maneuver for Wii today. It gives viewer the idea that Wii reaches out to all kinds of people —from your family to your friends.

The campaign named, “Atsumareba Wii,” translates to “If you gather together, Wii.” The newest ad page introduces Wii games which can be enjoyed when family and friends gather on Christmas and New Year. Titles included are Wii Party, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Mario Sports Mix.

The campaign page are accompanied with commercials which also promote the game console. It proposes the fact that Wii’s use is not exclusive for leisure time but for building bonds between family members and friends.
