The “Face Unlock” is a new screen-lock option that lets users to unlock their Android devices with facial recognition. It takes advantage of  “the front-facing and state-of-the- facial recognition to register a face during setup and then to recognize it again when unlocking the device.” All you have to do is hold your device in front of your face to unlock it, in case this does not work you can make use of a backup PIN or pattern.
