Angry Birds Ships to PSP and PS3 This Week

Oh yes! You're reading it right. Angry Birds which was once a smartphone game is now heading to Sony consoles. It has been confirmed by the PlayStation blog that the device will be ready for its mini version this week.

The year 2011 must be a lucky year for the Sony consoles enthusiasts. Why? The all-time favorite game on iPhone and Android is now on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. What game are you thinking? Of course it’s Angry Birds.

The Rovio-developed game is now available for download as a PlayStation mini title this week. PlayStation minis are smaller games that can be downloaded on PSP and PS3. The mini version of Angry Birds seems like it will be similar to the versions of Angry Birds already available for iOS, Android and Symbian devices, complete with support for 63 levels of bird-flinging, block-busting, pig-smashing action.

Angry Bird Updated for Android Devices

Today, Angry Bird marks the first ever update for Android. The update made room for more improvement plus fixed few bugs. And people will love this games even more with the launch of Angry Bird plush toys.

The awesome team behind the Angry Birds mobile games just opened its doors to their very first big update for Android. Since their first release last October, Angry Bird was downloaded for more than 2 million times.

The Angry Birds 1.4.3 for Android is now supporting QVGA graphics. The team also fixed the previous problems that players encountered while using it.

But that’s not the big news yet, the surprise Android has is the inclusion of the episode “The Big Setup.” This is the latest episode of Angry Birds series and it brings Angry Birds for Android up to 195 total levels.

Moreover, Rovio released the Angry Birds plush toys. These toys are eight-inches, cute and plushy whoch come in five different birds. A single plush toy costs $14.99. The toy sale starts on December.
