Demand for Apple’s iPhone4 still strong amidst “antennagate” issue.

Seven weeks after its launch, the iPhone 4 remains in limited stocks at Apple’s U.S. retail stores amidst the “antennagate” issue. Its antenna problem obviously does not affect the sales of the smartphone.

Limited stocks on stores indicate that the demand for iPhone is heavy despite the controversy about the antenna. This issue started when users discovered that covering the left corner of the device will reduce its reception. This trend is not a sign of slowdown on production but better sales of the handset.

Inside Apple’s iPhone 4 Press Conference

Finally! Apple opened the doors to the press people to talk about their iPhone 4 issues.

With just a short notice, it’s a bit impressive that many people came to Infinite Loop to hear what Steve Jobs will say on Apple’s iPhone 4 Press Conference last Friday. The conference started with “The iPhone 4 Antenna Song” from YouTube then Steve Jobs came out to meet the press people.

Jobs started with a 15 minute presentation. “You know, we’re not perfect. We know that, you know that. And phones aren’t perfect either,” he started. “But we want to make all of our users happy. If you don’t know that about Apple, you don’t know Apple. We love making our users happy.”

Apple is Giving Away Free Cases for iPhone 4 Users

Apple's solution to your iPhone 4's reception issues... Free iPhone case!

Steve Jobs announced last Friday on Apple’s press conference that the company will issue a free case to every iPhone 4 units bought until September 30. You are entitled for a refund in case you already bought a bumper for your iPhone. Starting late next week, consumers can apply for a free case at Apple’s website.
