TechCrunch Sold to AOL

After series of rumors swirling around, TechCrunch finally made its stop on AOL’s hands.
It came unexpectedly, but it is official. TechCrunch sealed the deal with AOL which verified several rumors about this issue.
TechCrunch founder Michael Arringtion and AOL CEO Tim Armstrong signed acquisition papers during the TechCrunch’s Disrupt conference held today. The financial value of the deal was disclosed from the public.
TechCrunch started in 2005 and gained much recognition after forming a vast network of tech-related blogs. Based on statistics, TechCrunch has more then two million visitors each month.
