Update: Apple Vaguely Confirms Fraud on iTunes

After receiving much complaints from the users and developers, Apple finally gave its statement about the hacked iTunes account and downsliding ranks of the app developers. However, the damage report was not directly addressed.
After the reports on hacked user accounts on iTunes and the down sliding ranks of some app developer, Apple finally gave its response about the hocus-pocus that happened over the weekend. According to the folks in Cupertino, the developer in question – Thuat Nguyen – has been kicked out of the App Store altogether. Though not explicitly said that the fraudulent activity occurred, Apple still advices that you should check your account and terminate your card once you find out that your info was stolen.
