iPhone 4 sets foot in UAE without FaceTime

Middle East iPhone 4 consumers were disappointed when iPhone 4 sets foot in UAE and Qatar without FaceTime. Reports said that the carriers blamed Apple for this huge mistake.
Apple’s iPhone 4 was launched this weekend at Quatar and UAE. But buyers were surprised not to have FaceTime on their devices. The National reports that the popularized video chat is not included on the iPhones sold at UAE carriers Etisalat and du as well as the Vodafone in Qatar.
Carriers are throwing blames on Apple for the missing feature and representatives from both carriers are blaming Cupertino as well. It was reportedly advertised on Middle East Apple site on the 20th of September and then suddenly FaceTime was removed. TUAW reports that UAE denizens have actually tried using FaceTime abroad. According to them, FaceTime is working not until they install the iOS 4.1 update.
No official word from Apple was gievn until now.
