Apple to Open Outlets Inside Target this 2012

Apple will be opening several store-within-a-store locations in selected Target this year.
The aim of Apple’s move to expand its retail is to be able to reach even the small metro areas. These 25 Target stores were selected since these outlets cannot support a separate Apple Store.
Target is considered the second-largest discount retail chain in America with a total of 1752 outlets. On the other hand, Apple owns 359 retail stores worldwide which 245 are located in the US.
Apple already has Apple Shops in over 600 Best Buy stores. In the past, Apple had formed retail partnerships with Computer City, Office Max, Sears, Circuit City and CompUSA.
