Apple UK seems like not that good in keeping some information a secret. But nevertheless, iOS 4.1 is out and the news should not be kept long. Owners of iPhone 3G now has a reason to wait for September 8.

The Apple UK site revealed that the launch date of iOS 4.1 is set on September 8. The new version brings bug fixes, Game Center, HDR Photography, HD video uploads, TV rentals, and the most important of all — iPhone 3G performance fixes. The much improved 3G will be the biggest gain from iOS 4.1 by the iPhone 3G owners. With iOS 4.1, the user interface becomes more responsive and beats its predecessor over board. It’s not as good as the 3GS, but it might suffice for the owners to switch. The next update, iOS 4.2, will also be around the corner and scheduled for November.

You can check out the comparative race of version 4.1 versus 4.0 on the video below.
