Rumors are circulating that adopt a 802.11ac Wi-Fi on its devices this year.

According to reports from AppleInsider, the company is planning to integrate a support for the 802.11ac Wi-Fi this year. The 802.11n standard is capable to support a speed of 1 Gigabit per second. The change will be implemented on ’s Time Capsule, AirPort base stations, notebooks, TV and mobile devices. Even no official words had been released, Broadcom, one of ’s component makers has showcased the chips compatible to the new standard at the recent CES 2012. The new standard, 802.11ac, features improved readability, more power efficient and better networking range.

Apple Call Off iPhone 4S Sales in Beijing, Crowd Gets Furious

Apple prioritizes safety but people came armed with eggs.

The iPhone 4S was launched in Beijing last October 14, 2011 and it was only on January 13, 2011 that it goes on sale. Over 300 customers gathered and encircled the Apple store in Beijing’s Sanlitun district in the hopes to score the latest Apple iPhone. According to news, the crowd was composed of workers as well as scalpers who aim to sell the smartphones at cheaper prices.

The Apple store was set to open at 7am but didn’t pusj through. Sometime around 7:15 am, a security guard announced that Apple is canceling the sales of the iPhone 4S for that day. Upon hearing the announcement, the irritated crowd turned wild and began throwing bag of eggs at the store’s interiors.

Apple to Open Outlets Inside Target this 2012

Apple will be opening several store-within-a-store locations in selected Target this year.

The aim of ’s move to expand its retail is to be able to reach even the small metro areas. These 25 stores were selected since these outlets cannot support a separate Store.

Target is considered the second-largest discount retail chain in America with a total of 1752 outlets. On the other hand, Apple owns 359 retail stores worldwide which 245 are located in the US.

Italian Court Denies Samsung’s Appeal to have the iPhone 4s Blocked in Italy

Samsung's sales injunction against Apple's iPhone 4s denied for the nth time.

The ongoing war between and is still ongoing. This time, seems to be winning. ’s move to stop the 4s’ release in the Italian market has been denied by the country’s court. This just comes a month after France has similarly rejected their appeal to block the sales of newest model in their country.

So far, Apple has won in Australia and had the Samsung Galaxy Tab temporarily banned in the Oz market last year, although the Galaxy tab is now available in the market, following the High Court of Australia’s  decision to reject their earlier plea. This can be compared to Samsung’s denied appeals in France and Italy. Samsung’s recent loss in the Italian court is hardly a surprise.

Speculations are pointing that is currently in the works of assembling the parts of a 32- and 37-inch iTV. These are television sets created by which are connected to the Internet for live media streaming.

Taiwanese blog Digitimes was the first to reveal the news which they previously collected from sources working in Apple’s supply chains. The assembly of television components will begin in early January and the launch of iTV will happen in the summer.
