Apple announced last Tuesday that its new Mac Pro desktop is arriving this August. The hardware is sporting a new tower of up to 12 Intel Xeon processors. That’s 50 percent faster than its predecessor!
The new Mac Pro features the latest quad-core and 6-core Intel Xeon processors, and all-new ATI graphics plus the option for up to four 512GB solid state drives (SSD). The processor can run up to 3.33GHz using a single die design, so they can share up to 13MB L3 cache. This improves the efficiency and increases the processing speed at the same time.
