LG Optimus Vu Gets Official: 5-inch, LTE, 1.5 GHz Dual Core CPU

LG reveals a Galaxy Note rival, the 5-inch, 1.5 GHz dual core Optimus Vu.

LG has officially announced a rival to Samsung’s Galaxy Note, the 5-inch, LTE capable Optimus Vu. The device, which is said to ‘blurs the line between phone and tablet’, boasts a 5-inch (1024 X 768) IPS LCD display with 4:3 aspect ratio.

The pen-friendly smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 32GB memory, 2080mAh batter and an 8 MP camera. It has full LTE capability and will initially run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread while an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich is in the works.

The Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona concluded last week. The mass explosion of technology news and surprises spread all over the world. It ranged from the wide varieties of smartphones to the huge arrays of tablets. Talk about technology overload!

Gadg came across an infographic that tallies down the specifics of the event. The graphic described which company got the best tablet or smartphone. The tallies gathered on the graph came from social sites like Twitter, tech blogs, and other media which covered the event from February 13 to 17.
