Lenovo elevates battery-charging technology with the ThinkPad X1.

Lenovo has finally unveiled their latest addition to their line of business-driven laptops — the ultra-slim ThinkPad X1. And although Gadg is sure the laptop has plenty of sweet specs to go around, what the X1 boasts the most is its new battery technology. No release date and prices have been unveiled yet.

Equipped with Lenovo’s RapidCharge technology, the ThinkPad X1 is touted to have a battery that will recharge 2.5 times faster than previous ThinkPad cells. The X1 can charge up to 80% in just 30 minutes.

N64Boy Advance Mod is Full of WIN

It's hard to imagine life without the creative minds of a modder.

Necessity is the mother of all inventions and boy, this big mother of a necessity just delivered a huge one. Hailrazer, a usual at the Modded By Bacteria message boards has put together a device he’d like to call the N64Boy Advance which, you guessed it, can play Nintendo 64 games. Using the hood of Game Boy Advance carrying case, Hailrazer threw in a GameCube joystick to which he removed the d-pad and decreased the size of the trigger buttons, good call we say. And with a 4.3-inch display plus a couple of camcorder batteries, fans of classic Nintendo 64 games can once again relive the moment in their very hands.

Let's try to forget about Apple's amazingly revamped MacBook Pro for a moment and take a glimpse of what's going on at Lenovo's backyard.

So what if Apple unveiled their new MacBook Pros? So what if they’re faster and technologically advanced than most laptops out there? All that matters is the right amount of CPU, RAM, battery power, and price right? Right? Well that seems to be the case with Lenovo as they sweeped through the euphoria of Apple’s latest spawns and unleashed the specs of their latest Thinkpad X220.

Lenovo capitalizes their Thinkpad L, T, and W series laptops with improved processors and battery life. Long live Lenovo!

Lenovo’s not out of the game yet as they’ve unleashed some buffed up Thinkpad T, L, and W series laptops refreshed with Intel’s latest processors, NVIDIA/ATI’s graphic cards, and not to mention improved VoIP features. The new laptops complement Lenovo’s serious push into the laptop market with their Sandy Bridge devices back at the CES 2011. And although the designs lack a little innovation or design at all (they look like our dad’s laptops in the early 2000s), these powerhouse laptops can sure pack a punch with their specs. Rumor alert! Motorola Charm's release was moved from late July to August.

Don’t get your hopes up high as rumors about the release of Motorola Charm is spreading. Instead of late July, the charming handset will be out in the market on the 25th of August. So what caused the delay? Only issues on battery life is said to delay the release. Another rumor is that Motorola will include extended batteries once the Charm is on sale.
