Apple rolls out the iCloud beta 5 together with the Mac OS X 10.7.2 to developers for testing.
Last Saturday, Apple tapped developers to test the fifth beta version of iCloud with the first external beta of Mac OS X 10.7.2. However, the big fruit requires devs to install Mac OS X 10.7.2 build 11C26 to use the iCloud 5. What’s odd is that the company is yet to reveal the test build information for Mac OS X 10.7.1.
As said by people familiar with the OS X 10.7.2 release, the operating system will not address the glitches found in last Wednesday’s market release of OX S Lion. It is also believed that the company will run a separate beta test for 10.7.1 in the days or weeks to come.Read the rest of the article »

Mozzila Thunderbird 5.0's final version is now available for download from its server, following its beta release a few weeks ago.
After releasing an earlier version of their email client software, Mozilla rolls out the final release of Thunderbird 5.0. It now can be download on its server.
However, the latter means that Thunderbird 5.0 will not run on PowerPC-based Macs. The latest beta version of the app was released a few weeks ago. That means, the developers moved quickly to finalize the final version and make it available for users. Mozilla skipped over ‘four’ in naming the software versions, so it would be numerically consistent with the Firefox.

Experience Google Earth with Nokia's Ovi Maps 3D Beta.
Tired of Google Earth? Gadg isn’t either. But Nokia seems to care less if everyone’s using Google’s 3D semi-espionage software, as it launches the beta version of Ovi Maps 3D. Ovi Maps 3D beta is supported by Navteq’s map and is powered by an unnamed software wizardry.
It’s practically the same thing, but we’re pretty sure Nokia’s got something else under its sleeves rather than just putting up a carbon copy of Google Earth. Unfortunately, the company has its lips sealed and won’t spill the beans on Ovi Maps 3D uniqueness just yet.
Check it out for yourself and see the difference (if there are any) by hitting this link.View Article Source »

However, a new report claims that there are evidences of future gaming features for the Apple TV — thanks to iOS 4.3 beta.
Two strings, “com.apple.appletv.play.live.thunder” and “.play.archive.thunder”, are pointing out that it is feasible for Apple TV to stream games or archive them for offline play.
