Korean report: Google Nexus Prime, arriving this October.

According to a report from BGR, the Nexus Prime – Google’s anticipated 4G smartphone with Android 4.0 – will be hitting the store shelves sometime in October 2011. Sources have confirmed that the original report came from Electronic Times, a Korean site which also disclosed some of the handset’s technical specifications.

Electronic Times has unveiled that Google’s Nexus Prime is the first smartphone to be equipped with the Android 4.0 operating system, or also known as “Ice Cream Sandwich”. Having Samsung as its manufacturer, Google’s third Nexus flagship Android phone will be sporting a 4.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.5 gigahertz CPU, and a TI OMAP 4460.
