Tumblr open its blogging highway to almost six billion users.

This past month Tumblr tumbles 6 million users, plus 1.5 billion page views a month and 4.5 million new posts a day.

The blogging network that’s worth every blog has just made it to 1 billion total posts today. You can tell by the number after the “post” in each Tumblr blog’s URL. It passed 1 billion already and the broken counter on the About page of Tumblr says this 999,999,999.

Aside from the big number of posts, Tumblr also shows off its 7.2 million users. The users are making 5.2 million posts a day. Their Quantcast data says that there are 1.7 billion page views in a month.

Go Tumblr! You are still the best when it comes to blogging!
