LG reveals a Galaxy Note rival, the 5-inch, 1.5 GHz dual core Optimus Vu.
LG has officially announced a rival to Samsung’s Galaxy Note, the 5-inch, LTE capable Optimus Vu. The device, which is said to ‘blurs the line between phone and tablet’, boasts a 5-inch (1024 X 768) IPS LCD display with 4:3 aspect ratio.
The pen-friendly smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 32GB memory, 2080mAh batter and an 8 MP camera. It has full LTE capability and will initially run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread while an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich is in the works.Read the rest of the article »

Pew Internet Project's survey reveals that users of e-readers in America doubled to 12% starting November 2010 to May 2011.
Number of E-reader users are increasing in last six months, surpassing the tablet growth that has enjoyed a ramp-up after iPad was launched last year.
Based on a study conducted by the Pew Internet Project: The number of people in the U.S. who uses Kindle, Nook or other e-reader devices were doubled to 12% between the month of November last year to May this year.
