Samsung unveils its answer to LG's 55-inch OLED TV, the 'SUPER' OLED TV.
Samsung unveiled the ‘SUPER’ OLED TV, the Korean electronics giants answer to its rival LG’s “world’s largest” OLED TV. The slender 55-inch TV boasts an ‘unmatched vivid and true-to-life picture quality’ with its enhanced color accuracy and has self-emitting RGB sub-pixels that eliminates the need for color filter.
It also has a 3D support, a dual-core processor that allows users to run multiple apps without interrupting the viewing experience and includes smart interaction capabilities such as voice and motion control and face recognition technology.View Article Source »

Vizio unveils plans to dabble in PC Market, will launch two all-in-one desktops and three notebooks.
Vizio, makers of low-price HDTVs, revealed on Friday their plans to enter the PC market by launching a whole new range of value priced Windows-based products.
During an interview with Bloomberg, Chief Technology Officer Matt McRae revealed that Vizio will unveil two desktop all-in-ones(24-inch and 27-inch displays) and three notebooks (14-inch Thin + Light Notebook, 15.6 inch Thin + Light Notebook, 15.6-inch Notebook).Read the rest of the article »

Folks at Engadget have posted a teaser video for HP Spectre, an ultra-thin laptop that is said to be HP’s next Ultrabook.

January is filled with revelations from the recent CES 2011 event. Samsung was one of the many companies at CES 2011 that rolled out exciting surprises for this new year. Earlier this month, the company introduced a line of new cameras and now Samsung is ready to unleash more.
“Today’s launch further establishes Samsung’s position of leadership, setting the benchmark for the latest high performing camera designs” as said on Samsung’s PR.
Samsung’s new line of cameras is accompanied by five low to mid-range point-and-shoots in its ST series. It begins with the ST30 model which sells at $100 moving up to ST65, then toST90 and touchscreen ST95 and to top it all, the $230 ST6500. ST6500 shows off a a 5x optical zoom, 720p video recording, and a touchscreen interface.
Expect the rest of the devices to fall between 10 and 16 megapixels, with either a 3x or 5x optical zoom and 720p video recording on all but the ST30. The five point-and-shoots will be available in February or March.Read the rest of the article »

CES 2011 has certainly showed us what’s in store for the coming year. And one that certainly grabbed our attention was Razer’s Hydra Sixense motion controller for desktop computer gaming. Although it has yet to be confirmed if the revolutionary Wii-mote-like hardware is finished with its developmental stages, Razer certainly took the initiative to show if off at the CES. Let’s start things up with OCZ. What’s up OCZ? After a decade of being a pretty nice provider of the world’s finest DRAM, it looks like the company is pulling the plug on that department and decides to focus more on their SSD products. After receiving several competition where speed and prices usually dictate the winner, it seems like getting too much competition on one single desktop hardware makes it hard for one to truly succeed. Razer definitely puts up a show at CES 2011 with their concept video of the Switchblade 7-Inch Gaming Tablet. Let's just hope the actual tablet does what the video says.
We’re getting more and more surprises at CES 2011 as Razer, one of the leading gaming hardware manufacturers in the world, shows a concept video of probably the holy grail of Mobile PC gaming, the Switchblade. The Switchblade is a 7-inch Gaming Tablet which uses a multi-touch screen and a keyboard that adjusts its interface accordingly to the game you’re playing. The video definitely sent chills down our spines especially when the Razer Switchblade adapted its keys to games such as World of Warcraft. The presentation at the CES 2011 was definitely a sight to behold, but we need more than just a concept video.
