An analyst from Ticonderoga Securities says that China Telecom will surely have an iPhone deal from Apple.

Ticonderoga Securities analyst, Brian White, pointed out a possible clue that Apple finalized a deal with China Telecom for their iPhone 5. Pointing to a Sohu news post, he understood that the carrier had reached a preliminary agreement to carry two different versions of the upcoming iPhone by late October. The said carrier has 108.4 million total subscribers, but only few can afford to buy an iPhone. However, they might be within reach.

Apple is letting China Telecom gets the CDMA iPhone before the year ends, as the firm plans to expand their subscriber base.

China Telecom is rumored to carry the iPhone by the end of 2011 based on a late night leak on Tuesday. Due to the existence of the CDMA models, the firm has all the technology and just needs to complete a deal.

China Telecom isn’t considered Apple’s ultimate target, but the company would be playing an important role for the distribution of the model since it is dubbed as the second largest carrier in China. This means it would be larger than the current iPhone provider, China Unicom, and significantly expands Apple’s subscriber base. Apple is negotiating with China Mobile as well and could have all the top 3 largest carriers under their company by the end of 2011.
