Another year has come to a close and boy did we have an amazing 2010. With the release of several PC gears thanks to the undying efforts of our favorite companies, we’ve managed to get the best, and the worst anyone has ever seen in 12 months. Today we’ll give you the Hardwares that wowed us the most that will most likely stick around by mid-2011.

Demand for iPad Hypes Up Online Sales

With the popularity of Apple's iPad, online sales on computer hardware this holiday season increased to 25 percent. This year 2010 is definitely the time when online sales is at its peak.

During the first 47 days of the holiday shopping season this year, online sales for computer hardware increased by 25 percent. That is due partially to the popularity of Apple’s iPad. According to comScore’s report, $27.46 billion was spent online for this year’s holiday season, with computer hardware as the top-growing category. This year, computer hardware sales grew 25 percent, out pacing consumer electronics, books and magazines, and computer software.

Apple sold 4.19 million iPad during their last fiscal quarter, and expectations were hyped up during the holiday season. Thanks to the expanded retail availability of iPad. Furthermore, the increase in 2010 holiday sales was also aided by the “Free Shipping Day” last December 17. Indeed, people have witnessed the peak spending this year through online sales.
